The Poplar Wood Garden House by Onix Architecten

This 38 square meter poplar garden house project is located in Groningen, The Netherlands. The house features saddle roof which is a typical rooftop design of the neighborhood and two outside areas reflected to it’s location which is nestled between the playground (South) and the ditch (North). The house has function as a garden house as well as a shed and a sculpture. It’s completely formed by one plank size and is made from poplar wood. The window stills are made from planks as well as the foundation. The house is never finished. The planks are easy to take out so that in the future art can be integrated in the house.
