I’ve been waiting for a post like this for some time, because I have played in a band and I am more than passionate about sound. As a matter of fact I have a pretty impressive collection of speakers myself, but let’s focus on these ones for now. As we can see these particular speakers are part of a segment called: floor standing speakers but I like to call them simply “towers”.
I am not going to enter into the technical terms because at this point only their design interests us, although nobody buys speakers for the way they look but for the sound quality. These speakers haven’t made the “looks-compromise”, keeping the high sound fidelity for the most demanding audiophiles and in addition they were made to better integrate with our interiors.
As owner and music enthusiast let me tell you that this combination was indeed necessarily because look at them, they are massive items that take space and catch everybody’s attention, music lover or not. Since most interiors have wooden furniture and a lot of items are made to match natural wood shades, Grand Reference VI will not only fit perfectly but they will become a focal point in a lot of living rooms. I don’t know about you guys but I sure want 120 dB that match my floor.
