British tuner BBR makes the Mazda MX-5 a lot faster
We don, AOT hear too often of modified Mazdas, but the British tuners from BBR have decided to use their skills and experience to enhance one of the most popular cars from this Company, the Mazda MX-5. Upgrade package they ‘ve come up with, called Super 180, includes an increase in both horsepower and torque figures, as you’ re about to see below.

upgrade package is available for Mk3/Mk3.5 2.0i Mazda MX-5 and it has a brand new stainless steel exhaust manifold, 2.5, and in the central part of the stainless steel exhaust with high flow metallic sports cat and center muffler, high performance panel air filter and stainless steel rear silencer with 3.5, and exhaust pipes that can be configured per customer.
Next, special StarChip ECU upgrade is done under the hood and thanks to all of these upgrades, the strength of the Mazda MX-5, was increased from standard 158 hp and 193 Nm of torque at a fairly impressive 180 horsepower (hence the name of this upgrade kit ) and 215 Nm of torque at 4,250, the maximum torque, AOS achieved at a lower speed than the standard model.
